Did you know that roaches commonly enter homes by way of boxes? Roaches travel in boxes, but not necessarily in the main part of the box like you might think, but rather between the layers of the box in the corrugated part. Roaches favor these small, dark areas, and can easily go undetected, even laying countless eggs between the corrugated pieces.
Individuals that develop roach problems as a result of infested boxes most often trace the boxes back to ones that they brought home from wholesale clubs, boxes that they had kept in storage for a while and then brought into their homes, or moving boxes that they got used from someone else that had them stored in their own home.
If you need moving boxes, you might want to consider buying new ones, or at least make sure that the person you are getting them from does not have any pest issues. After you bring moving boxes into your home, unload them and throw the boxes out as quickly as possible, instead of leaving them sitting around for extended periods of time.
