Appearance

The Giant Golden-Crowned Flying-Fox Bat takes a great deal of care with personal grooming. With their wings, they scoop the water up and put it all over the body. They are mainly nocturnal.
Diet
They will travel as far as 25 miles per night when they are out looking for food. The Giant Golden-Crowned Flying-Fox Bat consumes fruits. The types of foods they consume include figs, lamio, nectar from coconut and durian trees.
Extinction
The Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox Bat is now in danger of becoming extinct. Poachers heavily hunt it in many locations.
Reproduction
Flying foxes are mammals and thus give birth and take care of their young ones. The bats have two breeding seasons, during spring and fall, in which the female can get pregnant in either season. Female bats reach sexual maturity at the age of two and give birth to one pup at a time.
